I have over 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and their families. I am especially skilled and trained in treating emotional and behavioral issues, family conflict, anxiety, and trauma. I am also trained in treating clients with eating disorders and body image issues. I have worked in schools, treatment facilities, and outpatient settings.
I work with clients struggling with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, difficulty adjusting to life changes and stress, and grief and loss. I also have a special interest and training in working with women with perinatal and postpartum anxiety and depression, mothers dealing with stress, the demands of parenthood and role/relationship change, and women in recovery from an eating disorder.
My practice is focused on holistic treatment and the unique issues each client brings to session. I use an eclectic approach to therapy. This allows for a individualized plan that you and I both agree upon and work toward.
My primary focus is to create a safe and therapeutic environment for clients to use for the purpose of building upon strengths and implementing positive change in their lives.
We are dedicated to helping our clients work toward their goals in a safe, comfortable, and confidential space. We will work with you to build an understanding of your situation and your self to solve problems when possible, accept painful truths when necessary, and help connect you to your deep, and sometimes unknown, inner resources with which to courageously and actively engage whatever situations arise in your life.Every person carries all the resources they need to move toward their goals, improve their lives, heal their wounds, and address difficulties in their lives. Psychotherapy can help in this process. In therapy we work with individuals and couples to develop the insight and skills to identify, access, and apply those resources to move toward their goals and lead happier, healthier lives and enjoy richer and more satisfying relationships. Our team is composed of licensed and prelicensed therapists with a range of training and specialties. We are dedicated to helping others tap in to their inner resources and strength to gain the personal growth they desire. We offer individual, couples, family, child & adolescent, and group counseling services. We offer a free 15 minute phone consultation.

I am specialized in treating eating disorders and other addictive and compulsive behaviors including anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, compulsive exercise, obsessive compulsive disorder, drug and alcohol addiction, and other disordered eating patterns. As a therapist, it is my ultimate goal to assist others in living their lives in the most optimal way, living up to their greatest potential. I use an integrative approach to psychotherapy, combining insight and skills training.
I help my clients understand how their experiences and relationships shape and influence their present situations. I help them develop tools to accept and cope with their reality, and then actively move toward changing in the way they wish to.
With this, clients can link the past which formed them, the present they are living in, and the future they wish to experience.
